Day #4: Made To Last Forever

This world is fading away, along with everything it craves. But if you do the will of God, you will live forever. (1 John 2:17, NLT)

Apparently, we are made to last forever. In Heaven, not on earth.

Life on earth is just a trial before the judgment day. That day will be the day our fate was decided: to live eternally happy in Heaven, or to be tormented eternally in Hell. Go. What would you choose?

And of course I'm choosing Heaven! (I mean, DUH?!)

Unfortunately, many people nowadays have a concept of 'we only live once' more than 'hey I will live on eternity when Jesus comes for the second time!' And that will destroy your soul. Because you're going to do both good and evil thing to complete your bucket list, and party like it's the end of the world.

One thing for sure though, there ain't gonna be a party in hell.

This chapter makes me think about death, and whether I'm afraid to.. die. *gulp*

I'm afraid of the concept of death. You never know what's going to happen after that. And to leave everyone you love behind, wishing they would be on the same waiting room as you (I'm talking about Paradise here) or will they change their path and head to Hades?

It got me sad. OR, will you even going to be in Paradise? What if you die and find out that what you have believed all along is a mistake??? Scary right? Or what if you think you are godly enough when in fact, God never see you as one? :|

We reaaaaallllly need to be better than just human. We need to learn to understand God.

There are many things that I should start and stop doing. It's not gonna be easy, but I'm willing to try ;)

PS. After the previous less happy post, I just want to write that I'm OK. I'm with God and He will heal me when I'm in pain, He will hold me when I'm sad, and He will cheer me up when I cry. Every time. So don't be worry! Just saying.. :)

I always write my post at this late hour. Gotta change or my plan will be ruined!
