The second tv show that I actually finished watching

The first one is FRIENDS.

The second one is How I Met Your Mother.

Now I'm not going to compare (but FRIENDS is the best tv show ever!) them both because they have really good humour and they're both funny. But, I must say this: HIMYM's final episode sucks! Yes, sucks. And no, it's not because of the mother. I happened to like the mother after watching the first episode of the ninth season. She grows on you.

What I really dislike is how this series direct you to a certain expectation about the ending plot and turn it around last minute! It's as easy as Ted's decision to not move to Chicago!!
I mean, please, why would you turned Barney to a sweetest man on earth only to let him divorced Robin three years after?????

That's unacceptable. I seriously would have loved it better if Barney died in the end. Because at least he could die being Robin's husband!

This whole ninth season revolves around Barney and Robin's wedding and the mother, and the plot completely deluded you - and Robin - to believe that Barney is able to love and settle down. But then BAM! Here goes the last two episodes and all those sweet stuff turn into bunch of craploads.
I totally don't get why Ted and Robin ended up being together, I really don't. And that's the solid reason why you should never gave me (and other disappointed shippers) any hope that they're (as in Barney and Robin) gonna be together whereas they weren't!!!!

It's funny how the show called How I Met Your Mother instead of How I Convinced My ChildrenSo I Can Be Married Again. I mean the title itself should have given you enough insight about the core of the story. And they have done everything so right - even though a little bit draggy, but still funny and full of morals - until the last two episodes.

As a matter of fact at the end of season 8 I was so disappointed to see how the mother looks like. Because I thought she doesn't have what it takes to go against Robin. But after watching several episodes of season 9 I started to see she's actually better for Ted than Robin. And throughout the story I grew more and more fond of this girl. She's so funny, wise, sweet and smart. Nevertheless, when the show played out the scene where the old Ted stole the blue french horn (again) to declare his undying love for Robin (again) in the end, I somehow feel that the mother is less important to Ted. At least not as important as Robin is to him. And I believe many people will agree with me on this. So What UP producers and writers of HIMYM??

Like what Robin said when she was faced to her colleague whom she didn't like, "Damn it, Patrice!!!"

Sigh.

I guess sometimes things don't go my way. Especially when it is the thing that I want to happen the most. Like Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams.
