I'm talking about happy ending of course. I've been watching romcom for two days in a row and they are all just soo goood. Some are movies so old I've almost forgotten the storyline but not even one movie could stop my eyes from getting teary.
I wonder why some of the best tear jerker movies rated so low. I mean, come on, it's love story!! They are meant to be cheesy, and funny, and romantic! Why expecting something more than just that??
And to think some people could possibly consider movies like MILF or American Pie to be better than Ghost of Girlfriends Past or Crazy, Stupid, Love. They must be crazy and stupid!
Why? Why do people keep on waiting for something new, something fresh and original and ended up liking 'unique' story like 50 Shades of Grey?? What on earth is happening to the good ol' taste of true and tender love? None. It's all gone.
Anyhow, I'm just glad they keep on making those typical love stories that gets my heart warm everytime I see the lead actors got together in the end. Especially when the guy makes 'the ultimate gesture' that secure his place in the girl's heart.
I'll be like 'Awww,' and wiping my happy tears off my cheek cos you know what? These movies make me believe in true love!! And no, I'm not expecting that all guys have to be as handsome as Gerard Butler or Ryan Gosling or Ashton Kutcher - though I wouldn't say no if there's actually someone like them in my life. But I also won't set my bar too low as to accepting that all guys are only as shallow as the creator of MILF.
Somewhere, somehow, there's someone who's meant for us and to be with us. We just simply haven't met them yet. Or haven't had any progress with yet. Because God is looking at each one of us girls - and boys - and He is planning a unique, original, perfect love story for us, one by one.
Now I'm going to continue my conquest in remembering and watching them good movies!!
Good luck to you in finding and experiencing your own love story!
