Day Two: You Are Not An Accident

OK! A bit late for posting, but I've read chapter two since last night, believe me! :)

So today's chapter talking about how God have planned about you, thought about you, and loved you even before you were born. And He appreciate your uniqueness, your eyes, nose, ears, face, body, height, everything about you! So, you're supposed to love yourself, the way they are.

It's kinda hard. Especially when there's this perfect prototype of what 'perfect' is. You know? But then again, maybe if we're not having such a bad lifestyle, we could all be 'perfect', they way God had planned us to be.

I'm going to learn to appreciate my body more, and by doing so, also fixing my lifestyle. I REALLY need to start working out. Or my tummy will get flabbier. Haha!

So that's my two cents about this chapter: if you appreciate God, love Him and seeing yourself as His holy temple, then you'd know you have to treat them holy, and that includes no cigarettes, no junk food, and no laziness. I read somewhere that in biblical history era, it took days for people to travel from one place to the other. And maybe that's what made them so healthy and fit. They walked the average 5 km per day! I've walked like less than 1 km per day? And not to mention the kind of food I'm eating!! :o See my point?

God loves us.

Question is, do we love ourselves?
