What I Don't Understand Is

How many people claiming themselves as righteous people, when, really they are just trying to justify themselves and pretend to be blameless. Don't get me wrong, I'm not posting this thing to judge anyone and proclaiming that I, myself is blameless, or to give hateful comments to unbelievers. Believe me, I'm a sinner. We are all sinners. But I repent everyday. And try to reevaluate myself as much as I can.

So what I have just found on twitter is a link posted by an influential person, who is also a famous gossip blogger. Well, I like most of his posts, not because I like gossiping but because I like watching entertainment, I love movies and music and I'd like to know what happen to these actors. Besides, most of his gossips are facts. And here where you, reader, really have to pay attention. Most of his gossips are facts, but not all.

And this is the biggest challenge that we are facing in today's world: handling information. Because honestly, I think many people were killed because of the things that they know, rather than because they deserve to die. And information is the key for everything!! In every work you do, every task you try to finish, every problem you need to solve, you need some information before you can do anything about it.

Back to my main point, if you really are a faithful reader of my blog (and thanks if you are :)) you would be checking the link, and you'd know I'm talking about religion, and Christianity to be exact. I don't know why many people questioning about Christianity as if we are terrorists. And people seem to be questioning about Christianity more than other religion. Well you might think, 'It's no wonder because Christians always ask people to join their community,' but I'm telling ya, we ask people to join, not forcing. And my apology if some Christians do force. They have different approach.

Anyway, the link that I gave you talked about how bible is used to justify slavery and equal rights, because in the bible there's a saying where slaves are told to respect their earthly masters. And they also talk about equal rights, you know, women emancipation, gay, gay marriage.

Now I wouldn't say that bible is easy to understand. It takes time and thus why there are so many people study theology. But if people really want an answer to it, they really should read the whole bible rather than pointing one passage and exclaim that bible supports such or such not. I mean, way back before new testament, humans ask for a king, and God had warned them, if you people had a king, there will be strata, there will be levels of status, and we are all bound to that king, to the government, to the laws and rules and authorities of the rulers of the world. So why are we here now, protesting something that we asked and said were prepared to accept long time ago? Because we are human. We never satisfy. And we must not blame bible for that. Blaming bible means blaming God, and it is just so wrong.

My second point, gay rights. Equal rights. The article started off with something like 'many couples nowadays are not expecting children...' If you are a Christian, a very good Christian, you'll notice something, and that something is God want us to multiply! So couples not wanting children for the rest of their life is against God. Of course, if you can't be pregnant or something, it means it's not your fault, but to do it purposely. I don't think so. Besides, God never created human so male can be with male and female with female. Whatever happens to the beauty of Adam and Eve? The beauty of 'woman was created from the rib of man'?

And I don't hate gays. Trust me, I've met gay people in person, I have gay friends and they are really nice. And I don't treat them like enemies, cause really they are not. What we have to combat is the poison that the Devil try to put among us. She ensnares us on our weakest time, when we don't notice. Sometimes they even appear in form of angles, and use verses of bible to entice us.

And that's why I said information is very important. You have to be really careful on deciding which one comes from God, and which one comes from the world.

Sometimes when we have fallen into sin, we try to find something - anything - to justify our wrong doings, and that's when Satan comes in and give us comfort and support for the sins that we have done. And we start to think, 'Hey! It's okay. I'm not sinning, I just do something differently. But I still love God, and I still believe He's my Savior,' but boy, have we just fallen deeper to Satan's trap?

The Devil's trap is not obvious, it is wrapped with ribbons on it. It'll look beautiful, it'll taste delicious, it'll sound so good, so right, and it will make yourself forget about other things. And most importantly, they will mix a little of lies in an ocean of truths, so then you'll start to wonder if all the lies they've been feeding you, are actually part of the truth?

Beware! Think twice, think more, reevaluate yourself. Hold fast to Him, revere to Him always, and may God bless you all.

I'm sorry if my post have offended anyone.
