It Is Written...

Good morning! I rarely post in the morning, I know, but lately I always wake up at around 8-9ish (except when I slept at 4, I'd awake at 10-11) I don't know why! And I'm not even setting up any alarm.

Anyways, my main post is about what I read yesterday. You know one of my FAQ in Christianity is: if He is the one and only, then why people can experience the presence, the existence and the miracle of other gods? And if it's wrong, how to differentiate between the right and wrong?

I bet it is something that you also ever thought, right? I always wonder about things like these. So yesterday when I couldn't sleep though I was supposed to be sleeping, I continue my bible reading, and look what I found.

Here's what I believe is the answer for the first question:
¹ “If there arises among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, and he gives you a sign or a wonder, ² and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, ‘Let us go after other gods’—which you have not known—‘and let us serve them,’ ³ you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for the LORD your God is testing you to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. ⁴ You shall walk after the LORD your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him.
Deuteronomy 13:1-4 (NKJV)

And for the second question:
²⁰ But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.’ ²¹ And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?’— ²² when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.
Deuteronomy 18:20-22 (NKJV)
