#100

You know what the topic is. 'Nuff said, this is something huge for me!! :) and for people who were really involved in it. The first time I watch Titanic, it was back in 1997 - I was seven years old back then - and it didn't stop me from liking it. I remember myself crying watching it, I guess because there were so many people died and it was said to be based on true event.

I watched it two days ago with my friends. Well I must say the 3D effect is so unnecessary, however, watching it again with the 3D effect somehow gave you an impression that this movie has just been newly produced. The picture quality is getting better and the music, oh my goodness, the music is both the most beautiful and saddest melody I've ever heard. I've been listening to it nonstop and I seriously considered buying the platinum album on iTunes, if it wasn't for my CC got locked.

Anyways, ever since 1997, I've seen this movie over and over again through television and I remember most of the scenes, but nothing can compared to my experience two days ago. Maybe because finally I can watch the movie without all the commercials - though the movie still got censored - from the beginning till the end. And I must say, it gave me a different kind of feeling. It's like I've known how it was going to be, yet it felt like I've just watched this movie for the first time. And this was the first time I literally flooded with tears watching Jack and Rose.

Perhaps I was too young to understand, but when I saw Jack and Rose, it was just so heartbreaking to see them not be able to make it together. :'( And one thing I realize, when Rose told Jack that she loves him, he didn't say it back.. I was like, dammit Jack say you love her too!! But Jack didn't have to say it, his action was OH-SO-ROMANTIC! He's a real gentleman, that Jack Dawson.

But by the way, I had this little talk with my sister about Titanic - she watched it too - and she told me how the love story between Jack and Rose is beautiful because they had only known each other for three days. Rose was just 'enjoying the moment'. And Jack was financially unstable - she got a point there, 10 cents per drawing?! - so IF Jack and Rose were to survive, they wouldn't have a happy ending anyway.

It kinda broke my picture-perfect love story. But even the greatest couple on earth's happy ending isn't all about 'happiness'. You know what I mean? And Jack was like 17 give him a break.. :p He looks like a reliable guy, to give up his life for the girl he loves. Awwww...! It also written in the bible that love is indeed, long suffering. But it's how you commit that makes it worth and beautiful. And when Rose did all those things she promised to Jack she would do together... It's just.. Painfully wonderful. That is love (:

I just love love love Titanic! I can't get enough of it. And it's been a hundred years since the real tragedy encountered!! I give my honor to those people who couldn't make it through the tragedy and to those who survived.

I hope my children will like it too in the future.. ;)

So.. To TITANIC!! *cheers*

Oh and here's my favorite scene from the movie.. I always cry watching it. Everytime.
