Yesterday's post was about worshiping God. And when I typed about it, I actually wondered if I could ever experience such a powerful worship. Well I did experience it today at Brigades. I have this friend, Adit, who's really good in singing and communicating, and also at playing guitar. So he's leading the worship session and I didn't know why, the spirit just came up, and I believe Jesus was there with all of us, and I could totally feel His presence, tears stung my eyes bunches of times, and it was one of the best praise and worship session I've ever had. Our church has got only a few members, but it sounded like there were one hundred people at the room. And our voices were united in one, and it sounded lovely, and more beautiful than any professional singer's voice.
I'm really happy because God has given me a chance to re-live that moment of feeling His presence, knowing that He was there, dwelling in our church :)
Anyway, back to the book, today's topic is to know what makes God smile. Again, we're talking about worshiping God. But what kind of worship?
There are five acts of worship that can make God smile:
- When we love Him supremely
- When we trust Him completely
- When we obey Him wholeheartedly
- When we praise and thank Him continually; and
- When we use our abilities
