What I like about Smallville

I know I know, I tweet about it almost every second but I just can't help myself you know! There's something about this tv show that intrigues me deeply. Maybe I have a heroic complex just as Lois.

As you know, Smallville was a story about Superman's timeline before he turned into - well, Superman. At first I hated this show, because it seemed to be more popular than Roswell (I'm a die-hard Roswell's fans) and I was like, what's Smallvile about anyway??

Little did I know it was about Superman (and also about alien, such as Roswell, I think I have an alien complex as well) and by the time I really paid attention to it, I fell in love with the story.

What's good about it is that despite all the drama (which I don't really like), there are lots of morale you can get. Or maybe I'm reading into it too much.

But yeah, more than anything, I cannot lie, I just love all the romances in between (I seriously have a hero complex in my blood). And this show can lead you to where it wants you to be. One second I cried over Clark and Lana and another time I wish Lana will just go away from Clark's life. (Same thing with Lois, though I'm still in doubt whether I want her to be with Ollie or Clark, but hey, we know what the legend says!)

There's just this one thing I hate about Smallville: the fact that Clark and Lana hooked up again on season 8, though a very brief one, but it made it looked like Clark didn't have feelings for Lois, which is duuuh, frustrating for one thing, and wrong. Simply wrong. Clark should have been crazy for Lois.

But, again, maybe that's what happened when you come across your first love? Well I still hate that part. Next time Lana comes, Clark better be solid as a rock.

Ok then. It is so hard to shut down my thoughts of Smallville once it started! I need to be back on my assignments!

PS. There's this sale on DVD set Smallville season 1-8, save up to 76%!!! I already have season 7 and 8 though.. Too bad!
